Questions and Answers: In-Depth Responses

My partner and I are currently doing a project on Aonyx cinereus. We have found quite a number of very specific papers on diseases but are lacking some more papers on general biology, ecology and conservation, one work we are trying to get hold of in particular is Foster-Turly, P. 1992. Conservation ecology of sympatric Asian otters Aonyx cinerea and Lutra perspicillata. Ph.D. Dissertation, University of Florida. We were wondering if you could help us?

Response from Lesley Wright

I contacted the University of Florida and they confirm that this dissertation can be purchased through the UMI service: http://il.proquest.com/products_umi/dissertations/disexpress.shtml

There are also some papers available in the IUCN OSG Bulletin, although only about half the issues are on line as yet - use the Search function and select the species name. You might find Otter Joy useful for basic biology of Asian Small-Clawed Otters.
